Brothers Jordan and Joshua Liburd were both diagnosed with multiple food allergies at early ages. During their elementary school years, they quickly learned that children with food allergies were often left out from activities and events and their feelings not considered. These experiences fueled their passion for food allergy awareness and inclusiveness within schools so that no child feels left out as they did. Due to their multiple food allergies, they were inspired to create allergy friendly products that all children could safely enjoy. They founded their custom crayon business, JL Fun Colorz in 2019 at the ages of 9 and 11. Joshua is allergic to over 20 different foods while Jordan is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, and several animals. Both brothers also suffer from asthma and environmental allergies. Jordan and Joshua donate their custom crayons to nonprofits that serve children and also donate a portion of all proceeds in support of food allergy awareness and education.
